Neopets is the most addictive site on the internet :) It's a virtual pet site but it's more than just Pokemon, it has a huge virtual community (17 million accounts), and lots of activities to take up your time. There are version of most popular online games, such as you might find on Yahoo Games or similar, trading cards, painting, storytelling and art competitions and a whole lot more.

This site is devoted to some more gothly parts of Neopets. You can choose to make your piece of Neopets as fun happy, or even dark and gloomy as you wish!

When you sign up you'll have to create a pet, there are a number of different breeds to choose from each with their own characteristics and look. Most people choose their pet on how cute it is, but there are also other reasons to choose the type of your pet, some breeds have different skills. From then you can play the games, open your own shop, build your own home... in this way you can make 'neopoints' and spend them on various items and activities. There are thousands of items in the game so there's plenty of shopping opportunities!

You can also choose to 'paint' your pet, making them different styles and colours (within a limited range), and give your Neopets pets of their own to play with; called Petpets. Petpets can now also be painted, so there's plenty of choices there too.
